One colleague found it. Nobody else got the benefit.

Someone on your team records interviews and meetings every week, and the transcripts stay in their folder. Six months later a colleague needs the same background and starts from nothing. Explore makes every recording your team shares searchable from one place, so nobody redoes the work.

Switching Explore on indexes everything already in the account, so an archive you have been building for years is searchable on day one. Nothing to upload again, and no extra usage charged for the indexing.

Today
Eight separate documents, greyed out, with no connections between them.
With Explore
The same eight documents, linked to each other into one network.

Built for how a team actually works

  • Search everything your colleagues have shared

One search runs across the whole shared archive. What one colleague learned in March is there when another needs it in October.

  • Share without re-uploading

Share a transcript with a colleague as it is, context included. Nothing to upload again and nothing to explain.

  • Private until you share it

A transcript belongs to the person who made it. Not even a team owner can read the contents until it is shared.

  • Revoke a share at any time

Every share is reversible. Anyone can take access back again whenever they want.

  • Add and remove colleagues

Invite colleagues, and remove their access again in one action. You decide who joins and when.

  • Keep work apart in a Project

When a piece of work has to stay separate, put its files in a Project and run the search inside that Project instead.

Colleagues who already use it simply join

Some of your colleagues are probably already paying for Good Tape out of their own pocket. Moving them onto one team account costs them nothing they have built.

Nobody starts over, and nobody pays twice.

  1. They join the team. Added with no disruption to their work.
  2. Their files come with them. Their entire history, every file and every project they made.
  3. Billing moves to the team. Automatically, so the personal card comes off.
  4. Unused time is credited back. Any time or hours they already paid for goes back to them.

Several transcription services? Keep them in one place

Most teams end up with more than one: a recorder app on someone’s phone, a transcription service on a personal card, a notetaker bot in every meeting. Bringing them into one Good Tape account changes four things.

  • Everything is searchable

When every recording lands in the same account, Explore searches all of it. There is no second archive sitting in a service nobody renewed.

  • No handoffs between tools

Every tool boundary costs an export, an upload and a file somebody forgets to rename. One account for recording, transcription, editing and search removes those steps.

  • One agreement to review

Your legal team reviews one Data Processing Agreement instead of several, and every recording sits on EU servers under the same terms.

  • One invoice, one pool of minutes

Finance gets one invoice and can see what the team actually spends on audio. Usage can be one shared pool, not a limit per person.

Privacy and Security

  • Zero training on your data Your recordings and transcripts are never used to train any model.

We never use your recordings, transcripts, or account content to train our AI models or anyone else's. We use your data for one thing: delivering your own transcription and Explore results.

  • EU hosting All infrastructure runs inside the EU.

We process and store your data only on servers inside the EU. It never leaves. Every subprocessor we use, and where it sits, is listed in our Data Processing Agreement.

  • End-to-end encryption Your data is encrypted in transit and at rest.

We encrypt your files and transcripts in transit with TLS 1.3, and at rest with AES-256. Encrypted from the moment they leave your device.

  • GDPR compliance Built to meet GDPR requirements by design.

We built and run Good Tape to GDPR requirements: your rights as a data subject, and a lawful basis for every kind of processing we do. We collect no data we do not need.

  • ISO 27001 Independently certified information security management.

We hold ISO/IEC 27001:2022 certification, the international standard for information security management. Certified by TNV System Certification Pvt. Ltd. on 30 January 2026, valid through 29 January 2029, with recurring independent audits.

  • Data Processing Agreement (DPA) Signed Data Processing Agreements available for every customer.

Every customer can get a signed Data Processing Agreement. It states in writing how we process your data, how we protect it, and which subprocessors touch it.

  • Service Level Agreement (SLA) 98% uptime commitment with 48-hour support response times.

We guarantee 98% uptime of the core transcription service, measured over a rolling three-month period and backed by a documented SLA. You get a first response within 48 hours on business days, 72 hours at weekends. Critical incidents are resolved within 24 hours of acknowledgment.

Frequently asked questions

What does it cost for a team?

Team pricing is quoted rather than published, because it depends on how many colleagues you put on it and how much your team records. Talk to sales and you get a real figure in that conversation. Explore is included for free in every plan while it is new, with base usage included. After the launch it is 10 euros per month, or 8 euros per month on annual billing.

Some of our colleagues already pay for Good Tape themselves. What happens to them?

They join the team and keep their entire history, every file and every project. Billing moves to the team automatically, so the personal subscription stops. Any unused time or hours is credited back to them. Nothing is lost, and nothing is paid for twice.

What do we get in the free trial?

Three days, with Explore included. While Explore is new it is included for free in every plan, Pro and Business too, with base usage included.

Is our audio used to train AI models?

No. We never use your recordings, transcripts, or account content to train our AI models or anyone else’s. We use your data for one thing: delivering your own transcription and Explore results.

Where is the data stored, and can we delete it?

We process and store your data only on servers inside the EU. It never leaves. You keep files for as long as you choose, and when you delete one it is removed from all our systems, including backups, within 12 hours.

What happens if we stop paying?

You can export your transcripts before the account closes. There is no lock-in on the text you produced, and no minimum contract length on the standard plans.

What happens when a colleague leaves the team?

A user can always delete their own files and projects. Beyond that, we work with each customer to put the right mechanisms in place for when someone leaves a team. Tell us how you need it handled and we set it up with you.
