Good Tape covers 100+ languages, from the most widely spoken to many regional and minority dialects. While very rare or niche languages may occasionally present limitations, these cases are exceptions, not the rule.
And that’s just the beginning. Good Tape also supports regional dialects, such as Swiss German, Mexican Spanish, Quebecois French, and Egyptian Arabic. Since our inception we have yet to encounter a language that we did not support.

Accents and dialects are handled inside each language: Swiss German, Quebecois French, Mexican Spanish, Brazilian Portuguese, Egyptian Arabic, Nigerian English and Danish spoken with a countryside accent. We’re also constantly fine-tuning local languages to make our transcription even more accurate. We’ve dedicated a large portion of our development to accuracy and are building the world’s most accurate transcription tool, in all languages.

Most importantly, your data remains strictly yours alone: we never use your files to train AI models, and everything is permanently deleted unless you explicitly choose to save it.

Does Good Tape work in all languages?
We support over 100 languages, including the 20 most spoken globally. Accuracy is consistently strong across most languages and dialects. Very rare or small languages may be limited, but those cases are rare.
Can Good Tape handle dialects?
Yes. We’ve built Good Tape to recognize variations such as Swiss German, Quebecois French, Brazilian Portuguese, and many others.
Do you provide translation?
Yes but the feature is currently in Beta and not released yet. In the future Good Tape will supports instant translation directly within your transcript, keeping speaker labels and audio playback intact.
How is accuracy outside of English?
Unlike many tools that are English-first, Good Tape was developed from day one with multilanguage transcription in mind, and accuracy outside English is a primary development target rather than an afterthought.
