Our culture is really important to us
Culture is the everyday stuff: how we talk to each other, how we support each other, and how we keep moving toward a shared mission. We want our team to feel safe sharing ideas and know they’ll be listened to. We want our team to feel like their work actually matters (because it does).
We’re Danish at heart so honesty, humility, and collaboration come naturally, but with our own twist. We don’t hide behind jargon or titles. We’re a group of “charming nerds” who are serious about building something great together but we’re never too serious to laugh about it along the way. From our Monday check-ins to our lunch ratings and crazy conversations (IYKYN) there is something unique about the culture we have. Do you offer remote or hybrid work options?
No. We value our in-office culture and only allow for 1 WFH day per week. We believe in the power of a unified team that can meet face to face and interact. We value our lunches together, and we’ve seen the magic that happens “around the coffee machine” where ideas can be openly exchanged and we get to know our team mates deeper than just a slack profile pic.
What’s the hiring process like?
It’s simple and human. Usually a short intro chat, 1 in person meeting, sometimes a task or case (depending on the role) and finally an informal culture chat. We move fast and value transparency throughout the process. Also this is actually a hidden easter egg, we prioritize people who do the work to get to know us. You’d be surprised most people never do the extra work. At Good Tape we reward those that do. Don’t forget to write “SHAMONE!” on the top of your application when you apply.
