Summary
- Upload and transcribe dozens of files at once. Perfect for researchers, journalists, and teams handling large volumes.
- No more one-by-one uploads, save hours on big projects with the same accuracy, security, and speed as single uploads.

Save time when importing projects
Projects are rarely just one file. A journalist might return from a week of reporting with dozens of interviews. A researcher could have an entire archive of focus groups or participant recordings. Uploading and transcribing one file at a time is slow, repetitive, and frustrating.
That bottleneck costs professionals hours of unnecessary clicking and waiting. With bulk uploads, you can handle entire projects in one step. Drag in all your files, press transcribe, and let Good Tape process them in parallel. The result? Dozens of transcripts delivered at once: accurate, secure, and ready to go.

How bulk uploads work
Bulk uploads remove repetitive manual steps by letting you select all your audio or video files, drag them into Good Tape, press transcribe, and generate multiple transcripts at once.
Each file is processed individually, so you can still search, label speakers, export subtitles, or organize everything into collections. Instead of waiting for each transcript to finish before starting the next, you save hours of idle time.

GDPR security built in
Large projects often involve sensitive material like unpublished journalistic interviews, and academic research which is why Good Tape protects bulk uploads with the same safeguards as every other file.
Stored files are secured with AES 256 encryption, transfers use TLS 1.3, all servers are located in the EU for full GDPR compliance, and files are permanently deleted unless you choose to keep them. We never train on your data, and we’re ISO 27001 certified.

Cases for professionals
Teams in newsrooms, research groups, and consulting firms can scale their workflows by assigning entire projects to Good Tape so everyone gets transcripts when they need them.
Even with large volumes, each file is transcribed with the same accuracy and speed as a single upload. Check out some usercases and see how other professionals use Good Tape to save time.
I used to upload multiple interviews per week, one by one. Now I drag them in at once, it saves me a lot of time.

Help center (FAQ)
How many files can I upload at once?
There’s no hard cap, but for best performance we recommend uploading in batches of up to 50 files. Larger projects may be split into multiple sessions.
Does uploading more files slow things down?
No. Files are processed in parallel, and turnaround is often much faster than uploading one at a time.
Are my bulk uploads as secure as single files?
Yes. Every file, whether uploaded alone or in bulk, is encrypted, GDPR-compliant, and never trained on.
