- Your files are yours: We won’t use your files for anything other than providing your transcription. It won’t be used for AI training.
- Responsibility: You’re responsible for your files. We always advise you to manually check the transcription’s accuracy.
- Security: Your file will be deleted immediately after transcription unless you choose to store it in your private Safe Vault

Introduction
These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of the service offered by Good Tape ApS (“Good Tape,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) through our website at https://goodtape.io/. By using the Service, you agree to these Terms.
Use of the Service
You must be at least 18 years old to use Good Tape. By using it, you confirm you meet this requirement. Use the Service for personal or internal business purposes only and comply with these Terms. Illegal or unauthorized use is prohibited.
Accuracy of Transcriptions
Good Tape uses advanced and powerful AI technology to transcribe audio and video content. Accuracy may vary, and we do not guarantee perfect transcriptions. We recommend that you always verify all transcriptions before final use.
Subscription Service
The service is available for free with limitations. Advanced features are available through subscription plans, renewable monthly or yearly. Subscription details and pricing are available on our website. You can cancel anytime, effective on the next billing date.
Payment and Billing
You must provide valid payment information to subscribe. Subscription fees are billed in advance and are non-refundable, except as required by law.
User Content
Good Tape does not train AI models on user data. Your recordings, transcripts, summaries, and any other content you upload or generate inside the tool are never used to train machine learning models and are never analyzed for product development purposes. We do not sell, rent, or share your content with any third parties.
Confidentiality
We treat your user content as confidential and will not disclose it without your consent, except as required by law. We take all measures to protect your content’s confidentiality.
Intellectual Property Rights
Good Tape owns all intellectual property rights related to the service. You are granted a limited licence to use the service for personal or business purposes, subject to these terms. Please do not copy, modify, or distribute any part of the service without our consent.
Content Rights
Good Tape users retain full ownership of all audio, video, and text files they upload. We only process your content to deliver transcription and related features, and we never train AI models on user data or share your recordings with third parties. All files are encrypted at rest and in transit, stored exclusively on EU based servers, and automatically deleted after transcription unless you choose to keep them. You remain in full control of your content at every stage.
Disclaimers
The Service is provided “as is” and “as available.” We do not guarantee it will be uninterrupted or error-free 100% of the time. Downtime or problems with servers, although rare, may occur from time to time. The service status is always available at status.goodtape.io.
Limitation of Liability
We are not liable for any damages arising from your use of the service, including direct, indirect, incidental, punitive, and consequential damages.
Termination
Good Tape reserves the right to terminate or suspend your access to the Service at any time, with or without cause, and without notice, however not during an ordered and paid subscription term. In the event that a decision is made to terminate the Service, the Customer shall be duly notified at least thirty (30) days in advance of such termination. Furthermore, any fees prepaid for the Service that extend beyond the date of discontinuation shall be refunded in full to the affected parties.
Changes to the Service
Good Tape reserves the right to modify the Service at any time, with or without notice. Changes to service prices can be made with a standard 30-day written notice.
Governing Law
These Terms and your use of the Service will be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Denmark without giving effect to any principles of conflicts of law.
Severability
If any provision is found invalid or unenforceable, it will be enforced to the maximum extent possible, and the remaining provisions will remain in effect.
Dispute Resolution
Any disputes arising out of or in connection with these Terms or the Service will be resolved through binding arbitration in accordance with Danish rules. The arbitration will be conducted in Copenhagen, Denmark.
Entire Agreement
